I am an abstract landscape painter living in London. My work focuses mainly on urban scenes, searching for the drama in the mundane and every-day. I use dynamic brushwork and colour to suggest environments, rather than depicting them literally, leaving the viewer to fill in the gaps. I works in oil paint and acrylic, on canvas or wood panels. I usually work from photography, then produce a sequence of sketches to pin down the composition before producing the final piece.
